Why does Othello exist?

We believe sales is the hardest job in the world. Currently nothing exists to help sellers in the most important part of their job: sales calls. We are empowering sellers to be the best versions of themselves in the moments that matter.

What kind of problems will I work on?

You’ll work on hard, real-world problems at the intersection of AI, data, and execution—LLMs in production, real-time systems, enterprise integrations, and workflows that teams rely on every day.

How does Othello think about AI?

We are allergic to buzzwords and don't believe in AI for the sake of AI. Software needs to be immediately useful and easy to adopt or else it will go to waste. We believe in practical AI.

What’s the culture like?

The culture at Othello is old-fashioned in the best sense of the word. It is built on the Golden Rule, where everyone is expected to build as hard as the next person, care as much as the next person, and support each other as much as the next person. There are no passengers and no hierarchy of effort.

What does success look like in the first 6–12 months?

Success means shipping meaningful work, taking ownership of a problem area, and raising the bar for how execution happens—both in the product and in how we work together.

Who thrives at Othello?

People who like responsibility, care about real impact, and want to build systems that matter. If you’re motivated by difficult problems and visible outcomes, you’ll feel at home here.
